| Just got back from the Backbone BG Festival. I'm the old guy who helped carry your case down the hill. I had never seen you play before, but Wow, was I impressed. I'm also surprised to see how quickly you've become so good. Your lead playing was terrific (you were clearly the best fiddler there), but what I esp. enjoyed were your fills. They were intelligent and musical and played with real technique. I look forward to listening to you make great music of whatever kind you like for decades and decades to come. |
