Hey everybody!
Well, it's been a while since I've been able to sit down and write to you all! Summer was a wonderful, successful festival season, and it was so good to see so many of you again!
Now that fall is rolling in, there are a few different events on the agenda. School keeps me pretty busy, but make sure you check back at the Schedule now and then to see what's happening.
Also, I post occasionally on my MySpace music space; if any of you are MySpace users, I'd love to be your friend! :)

Wow...what a bunch of updating! You can now find:
1) A revamped Home page
2) Multiple slides in the Photo Gallery
3) An overall CLEANER and FRESHER website, free of dust and cobwebs!
Hurray! Well, I'm getting ready for the big Virginia trip next week. In the meantime, stay tuned for more exciting new things to come, and don't forget to check back at the Schedule often!
I know I've left you guys in update limbo for the past few months, so I plan to make up for it this summer! After a long, hard senior year, it is so refreshing to kick back and enjoy the festival season!

I got my Claire Lynch June News today and was pleasantly surprised to read that Ms. Lynch picked my six-word memoir as her choice contest entry. What an honor -- thank you, Ms. Lynch! Well, this year is certainly getting off to a busy start. I hope all of you are staying in good health, unlike me. I have been pretty bothered with a cold that will not go away – and the whole family has just been passing it back and forth! But aside from that, there should be some good music in store…
I want to offer another big “thank you” to all of you who helped finalize the big CD project and to those of you who have already shown your support. It thrills me to say that we’ve been doing well with the albums. Thanks again, and make sure to check the schedule now and again because I hope to be doing some radio shows very soon all about the project.
The 30th Anniversary Show with the Harman Family at Lewis & Clark was simply super. What an event! I will have the pleasure of performing with the Harmans throughout this spring, so, as stated before, be sure to check back at the schedule and see where we’re going to be!
I must say, it really delighted me to see the article on the Joe Val Bluegrass Festival in January’s Bluegrass Unlimited. Reading those things about Val and seeing his name put out there just put a glow in my heart. Great article – a must to check out for all Val fans.
Anyway! Take care, keep picking (even if your penned up somewhere and can’t get out to see your jamming buddies or don’t have some shows for a while), and hope to see you somewhere SOON!
